Landscape feature wall as the final component of the Rozelle Square landscape revitalisation project.
Project aim was to hide an electrical substation from street view, to act as a visual focus for the school frontage, and to match the appearance of the surrounding streetscape. The complex array of electrical and telecommunication services extending from the adjacent substation required a solution without extensive strip footings. Custom offset posts were designed to prevent any interference with the cables.
Custom-designed panels were manufactured to achieve the maximum span possible (3.6m). Custom posts were constructed from fabricated galvanised steel for maximum durability and corrosion resistance.
The final sandstone cladding and bronzed signage were installed by 3rd party contractors.
